"One of our best stays in Italy so far! Super easy to get to from the airport, just pick up your rental car and go. We arrived after the sun had set, even in the dark it was easy to find. "Hotel con parcheggio privato molto comodo,con anche tettoia per riparare le auto dal sole. Reception e location semplice quasi sicuramente a gestione familiare. Qualità ottima della reception e della disponibilità per ogni evenienza. Camere semplici come arredo ma funzionali con letto molto comodo,matrimoniale e non i soliti 2 singoli accoppiati. Neither the hotel’s website nor Expedia mentioned that the pool was closed, so we were very disappointed. However, the property is cute and rustic. "This resort is a gem! We stumbled across it when we needed an overnight stay prior to a next day train ride. If we would have known, we would have spent at least 3 days. The owner and staff are a delight, the atmosphere and grounds and pool area are gorgeous! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing dinner with a Tuscan sunset and great wine! Breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely be back."

We did take ourselves on a little tour of historic rooms in the building. Would have appreciated if there was more signage/explanations of the history of the building."
