"Absolutely lovely hotel in a stunningly restored Renaissance palazzo. We booked for one night and ended up staying three nights. Spotless clean, excellent service, and tasteful rooms in a scenic little town with few tourists. Ideal for day trips to Asti, Alba, Fossano, Cuneo, and other culturally relevant sites in the Piemonte. We fell in love with Mondovi, its excellent restaurants, and the calm genius loci. Barbara and Massimo, the owners, gave us a tour of the palazzo and the neighborhood....

"Hotel situato lungo strada, con ampio parcheggio. Entro in camera, e mi assale l'odore di polvere: moquette sporca, tendaggio e una vecchia poltrona in tessuto ne sono la causa. Prima sorpresa: la finestra è sigillata! Vedi foto. Il bagno è cieco e non funziona l'aeratore, impossibile il ricambio di aria, brutta sensazione. "This was a great choice for our too-brief stopover in Cuneo, en route to Ferrovia delle Meraviglie; Cuneo to Ventimiglia, next morning. We arrived by train at 10.36 pm & Hotel Victoria is an easy, quick, flat stroll from the station. Very comfortable mattress, not super hard like most we had in Italy, we slept very well, yay! Excellent bathroom & shower. Breakfast was also very good, with excellent coffee, savoury, sweet & in-between options. Reception staff efficient & friendly."

"The owner was very nice and accommodating. The room was very nice too, however the bathroom had the smallest shower we have ever encountered. At most it was two feet by two feet inside dimensions. Don’t drop the soap. :)"
