"This place was exceptionally clean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I got into the correct car by calling and waiting for the taxi or tour bus. The kitchen offers 24-hour self-serve water, tea, and local fruits. The breakfast smelled delicious, although I only managed to enjoy it once because I was picked up early in the morning before breakfast hours. As a family-run establishment, the staff is incredibly attentive to their guests."

"Old world charm in the historic center. We were able to walk to many sights and restaurants. The breakfast had fresh fruit and juices, a hot dish featuring regional cuisine, eggs, and a great selection of breads. Coffee, not so great. Shower was hot and very clean. Room 217 was noisy from plumbing or sump pump and no blackout curtains for sleeping. Overall an excellent hotel and very helpful staff."

"I absolutely loved this hotel. It was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. I loved the decor. I have to give special shoutout to the staff members who made the experience very pleasant, which included Freddy, Joz, and Gustavo. They were very attentive and accommodating. I don’t feel the need to explore other options for hotels to stay at when I come to Quito again because I only want to stay here. That’s how much I loved it!"

"We booked this and one other Quito hotel for my wife’s special, ‘big birthday’ trip to Galapagos based on more than 40 Hotels.com 10/10 reviews. However, whilst the staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the hotel fell some way below what we, as fairly experienced international and third world travellers, consider to be quite reasonable expectations. It is located in a side street at the very edge of the ‘safe’ historic old town, to the point where locally-based lunchtime hotel diners...

"I loved the suite i stated at, just perfect, the bed, Lightning, bathroom, the feeling of the house, the Design, absolutely gorgeous. The house wine was amazing, highly recommend it. The staff was wonderful, very helpful, from the front desk to the bar and all in between."
