"The little kitchen area was nice. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site and it was very good. The little pizza place a block or so away was fantastic. The laundry room was perfect and soap was included. The beds were comfortable and even with open windows it was quiet. The early morning birdsong was lovely. This hotel is nicer than the pictures and description!"

"Great location, very friendly and accommodating staff, and great amenities. Room surfaces were quite dusty/dirty and there were spider webs found periodically but nothing too majorly bad. Heater in the room was great and the bed was very comfortable!"

Upon checking we were given a lot of recommendations for things to do and see in the surrounding areas and places to eat. Would highly recommend!"

"This was honestly the best place we stayed in South Island. We stayed at places double/triple the price and this one was still the best. It was extremely clean, room extremely comfortable and spacious (the comfiest bed we have ever slept on) and the staff was extremely accommodating. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through or visiting Nelson!"

"The room was spotless, and he upgraded us to the spa room. The service was outstanding. The owner was so kind and generous. He picked us up at the airport because we had to drop off the car a day early, and then took us back to the airport the next day. He recommended places to eat and see. Very kind, helpful, and the accomodations were great. The one thing I loved the most is the the vanity mirror was next to a window so it was easy to to see to put on your makeup. Highly reccomend Arcadia...
