"The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

"Staff were helpful and knowledgeable at check in. Parking located on site at no fee. Room was comfortable and clean as was the property. Enjoyed how close it was to area attractions and the coffee shop in the morning was a huge help for our travel day! We would stay again"

"The hotel's facilities are basic, offering only the most essential amenities, which doesn't justify its price. The breakfast area is cramped and the food is simple. The four-story hotel only has one small elevator. I stayed two nights, but the hotel didn't automatically provide room cleaning or clean towels unless I requested them. However, its advantage is its convenient location with restaurants and supermarkets nearby."

"The beds were excellent and the rooms were great. The only thing I would suggest is the bathroom floors were very slippery when wet, and there was no bath mat to put in the tub to keep from slipping."

"Room was clean. It is an older property so keep this in mind. The lighting in the bed area didn’t work when we checked in. It was kind of bazaar, but when we found the plug in for the bedside lamps it was loose. After pushing it back in all of the lighting worked in the area except the reading lamps. "The staff is amazing very helpful and even though the pool was down for maintenance the front desk kindly asked if we would like to use their sister Marriot down the street where we were able to enjoy the hot tub and pool- very good service would definitely go again."
