Sometimes what sounds like a good choice price wise ... not so good otherwise. I should've read the reviews 😒
The 1st room given was very unsatisfactory, specifically the bathroom (toilet not clean, rust stained tub, unclean tub), curtains had multiple unsightly stains , so I requested another room...the 2nd one was better, but it was still very obvious that this place needs to be updated (furniture, fixtures and decor). I have to admit though, the bed & pillows were very comfortable, the linen was clean & smelled fresh. BUT, For some unknown reason, We had to call for the hot water to be turned on every morning and on the day of our departure (10/21/25), we got NO hot water for showering because we had to be at the airport at 0500 and the person that turns on the hot water wasn't scheduled to come in until 0800...how unsat and poor management is that?????😡
If not for Pierre (5 Star Service) at the front desk, and the fact that the hotel is literally right across the street from the Mall Of America and a major public transportation hub... I would've given this place maybe 1 Star !!! If I ever come back to Bloomington again, I most likely will not be booking a stay at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson at MOA.
