"We stayed here for a quick overnight after a long day of travel, and it was the perfect place to drop in and recharge before continuing our journey. The location couldn’t be better—right next to great restaurants and a lively market, which made it easy to grab a good meal without going far. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the room was a comfortable, spacious place to unwind after a tiring day. It’s an ideal stopover spot if you need a clean, convenient, and well-located place to rest before heading back out on your travels. Highly recommend for short stays!"

"This hotel is absolutely charming, with beautiful artwork and so much personality. The staff was incredible—after arriving in Costa Rica at 8 AM, they surprised us by letting us check in at 10:30 AM, even though standard check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. Such a welcoming and thoughtful gesture! The rooftop pool was fantastic—heated, with full bar service, and we could even play our own playlist. The hotel is also in a great location, with plenty of restaurants and activities within walking distance. Breakfast was always delicious, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the service throughout our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel for the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail. We would definitely stay again! "

"Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "
