"Lovely room with view. Manager Babs was very nice and cleaner found my lost hearing aid. Everything was lovely though there wasn’t a bedside light. But I had a torch so it was ok."

"I have often stayed at this hotel when travelling for business in the area and it never disappoints. The service, staff, ambience, excellent food and easy car parking, makes it a must stay. Always a genuine welcome and the pwners / staff happy to chat whilst you're there. Fantastic breakfast and a great dinner menu, congrats to the chef for thier consistent wonderful, tasty food."

"The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. The only thing we found that there was not any oven trays for cooking but there was an oven. Not a dealbreaker at all and we just used foil that was provided. Just a point for the future! "Our stay at the Ship Inn was lovely - the rooms are perfect, the bed super comfy and ear plugs are provided for any noise from the pub downstairs (which we did not find a problem at all). Breakfast is continental but very lovely and we had a really nice stay. Also ate at the pub and would definitely recommend - all staff lovely and food really really good (and nice cocktails too at a good price!) "

"I stayed at the Woolpack for a long weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better or ore friendly place to stay! The rooms was immaculate and had everything you could want or need, the breakfast hamper is such a nice touch and already included in the price. The staff all made me feel so welcome, a good funny bunch that went above and beyond. The atmosphere was even better with the live band in the bar Saturday night, having a good dance to some real music. Would 100% stay again! "

"We had room 9 which had an upstairs with twin beds as well as the double room down stairs. Plenty of space for just my friend and I. Beds very comfy, and we loved having our own outside space at the back. We couldn't put our finger on what the slight odour was in the room, but it didn't spoil our stay, so we didn't report it. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! as was our meal the night before. This place is very good value for money, and I would stay here again. "
