"Absolutely stunning hotel - beautifully designed with interesting features to observe and enjoy. My family and I were in the two-bed royal apartment, which was spacious, clean and luxurious. The staff were all super-friendly and went over and above to ensure we had a fabulous stay, from booking restaurants to providing information on what else we could do in the city. "It was very hot and we weren't able to operate the air conditioner and bathroom door didn't close. We had advised reception but no one came and had to reach out again later in the evening as the room was unbearably warm. The hotel is old which was to be expected and the cleanliness was ok. The room is cleaned every other day so not sure how this is a 4 star hotel. There were alot of little flies and moths flying inside the room. Also, one of the pillows was dirty and didn't look like the case...

"The staff was very welcoming and warm. We enjoyed the complimentary port wine and cookies. We appreciated the yummy breakfast luxury of it coming to our rooms each morning at the requested hour. What took us by surprise was that there was no elevator and quite a few stairs to land at the small reception area.
