"Long wait to get checked in. Then we didn’t like the room so we paid to upgrade. Again took a long time and once we got to the room it was not clean, stains on carpets, light bulbs out, mold around showers. Not what we expected. There was a wedding going on so it was also very busy with those guests. Pool was over crowded."

"The unit we stayed in was perfect for a family of four with 2 kids. Our daily walk to the beach was a few hundred yards to the beautiful gulf coast. Staying here is more like a condo experience than a resort experience. The pool was very clean and loved by our children."

"Casa Ybel was the perfect getaway for my family. The resort was an oasis of serenity and sunshine which helped us unwind from the brutally cold and miserable winter we just endured up north. "The location of the cottage was good and there was plenty of room to park a car. Everything (restaurants, shopping, grocery store, ice cream, etc.) was within easy driving distance. There were plenty of extra towels for the beach, beach chairs and bicycles for our use. The beds were comfortable. On the downside, the bedrooms were small. So much so that we couldn't fully open the door without hitting the bed. In addition, in the bedrooms there was no storage (chest of drawers) to put clothing or anyplace to put a suitcase, except on the floor. There was a tall chest of drawers in the living room area. One of these in each of the bedrooms would have been very useful but not so much where it was. Everything considered, we would stay here again."

"This was the perfect cottage for my family of 4 to spread out and not be on top of each other like a hotel room. We used the provided bikes every morning. Loved biking. The proximity to the beach with the provided umbrella, chairs, towels and wagon was awesome. Loved our stay!"
