"Stayed prior to a cruise. Great location. Really comfortable and clean room. Nice breakfast buffet with good variety. One elevator was out of service during our stay which made things a bit painful considering the number of guests at the hotel."

"Excellent service and facilities, from start to finish. Free little gifts and water bottles to keep hydrated were a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The evening meal (lamb with side of creamed leeks & brocolli) and mocktail were amazing, probably the best ever. Car park was not entirely clear, but worked out in the end, except for there were no electric charging points free, in either of the hotel or adjacent council car parks."

"Lovely hotel to base yourself for peppa pig world. The pool was a bonus on arrival while waiting for dinner time. Changing facilities could have been cleaner, especially the floor. Breakfast had good choice. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Black out curtains helped with toddlers sleeping."

"Hotel full of character, undergoing renovation in places but improvements have been made since we were last there. Dinner service was very good and if the weatherโs nice it has a lovely patio area out back for dinner and a drink. Shame the pool was closed though."
