Communication - we texted and called the number on the hotel guide several times as well as on hotels website, but rarely got a reply. At one point we were sat waiting for two hours to access to security box (just add the instructions to the box itself guys…). We also inquired about the tours and experiences promoted in their welcome brochure, but did not get a response.
Instructions how to check in were very minimal, could be explained more, there will be a security guy waiting for you, just knock eg… we were stood waiting on the street, middle of the night after a long flight for up to twenty minutes.
You should also inform your guests if you have big events planned. Sure, it was New Year’s Eve, but you didn’t host a regular New Year’s Eve party - it was a massive rave that went on..
