Clean, comfortable room in great location. Area safe and walkable. Everything worked…lots of hot water. I stayed three nights…seems room cleanings not done unless requested. Will consider staying again.
Very good location and nice staff. But sketchy from street view but rooms nice. Water failed once but they fixed it right away. Hot water is hottest I’ve ever had in a hotel. In room fridge and microwave nice and modern and clean. They clean. They are constantly cleaning.
I stayed alone for 1 night after a group trip. Got my room for about $50 USD total, and it was such a steal.
The room seemed clean and comfortable. I was concerned about street noise after reading some other reviews, but it wasn't an issue for me. The front desk is 24/7 and you need to buzz in each time to be let in. Location is great for any restaurants in Roma Norte or even Condesa. Right next to Oxxo as well! Good idea to speak Spanish to communicate with front desk staff.
The room had a strong smell when I arrived, and one of the windows didn’t have a curtain, so it was very bright early in the morning. The room was also not soundproof, and it was quite noisy at night. The curtains didn’t block out the light well either. Given the price I don’t think it worth it. Staff were good.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Casa Romita was okay to stay one night. It’s pretty standard and relatively clean. It’s on a busy street so there is traffic noise but our room had a fan so it tuned out some of it. Nothing fancy about it but it did the trick. We had a late flight out and the front desk agreed to hold our bags for the day which was much appreciated. It’s close to the metro and lots of restaurants.
This place is pretty clean and decent. However there's no air conditioning. I kept my windows open to keep the room cooler but because it's at the center of the city, the opened windows brought in dust and loud noise. The fridge is not working neither.

Ok stay
It's a small really well-located 5 story hotel.
Elevator was out of service for maintenance, but actually I never saw any technician working on it during th stay, we didn't mind because we were on the second floor.
The room was really clean, they have a modern aspect, but you can see they were renovated on a budget, so there are a few details here and there.
The hotel nas no AC, but I went on December, it was a nice weather, so we did not miss it, but we had a room facing the street, and OMG the outside noise.
One of the towels we got was really deteriorated, but I asked for it to be change and the immediately fulfilled my request (good service)
They also leave courtesy water in the room, and you can ask for more (nice touch)
Neither the bed nor the pillows were comfortable, but we were not staying for long.
Also there's a 24hr convenience store right next to the hotel.
Breakfast was included, and good to be honest, it's served in a nice terrace and freshly cooked roght before you eyes.
Overall, average experience.
Key points: nice service, really good location, waking distance to touristic places, and sorrounded by hundreds of restaurants.
