Hotel Dekat Metro Chicago

"What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

"good stay, thanks"

"The room was clean and welcoming"

"Older building but well maintained and quaint. The bed was very comfortable, AC was great. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a great space for a solo traveler who needs the basics but likes the niceties. Modern decor and simple amenities with great touches. Close to train and lots of restaurants."

"I was a little worried about some if the reviews I had read before planning our trip. However, we went with it and were glad we did. We would stay there again. It's a cute place located in a fun, artsy, easy going vibe location. A cute neighborhood. The building was older, however they are remodeling and we stayed in a freshly renovated room which was great. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom very nice. It was a little noisy because it sits on Diversity Pkwy. but I would somewhat expect...

"No issues with the check in process. Great location and comfortable room."

"I like that it had a balcony food choice wasn’t my type of style end up ordering food off of site but definitely had all the amenities for you to be ready for the next day. Will be staying again little bit pricey for a short weekend stay but I will definitely be coming back. Very great part of the town hope to own my own own home in this place one day."

"My only suggestions. The batteries in the rechargeable TV remotes die too quickly and the room service ordering software on the tablet was lacking pictures. Options for an omelet were red and unavailable to select. So unless they were out of eggs, that was an issue. And the bedside tablet nightlight is nice, but too bright. These were a struggle to come up with because the service was impeccable."

"The hotel lobby and rooftop are nice but the rooms are okay. We had 3 rooms and the shower pressure was terrible in all. The king room felt small so we switched to 2 queens which was much better. The service was so good though and it’s attached to a mall. It was good overall but probably won’t stay here again."

"Great staff they accommodating us."

"Room was clean and comfortable, easy to get around the city from the location, and breakfast was perfect."
