"This place was awesome! More than enough space and they had the basics for the kitchen and were super responsive if we needed anything. The only thing I would suggest is if you’re staying in the master bedroom bring a sleep mask because there are no curtains on the doors or skylight so it’s bright very early."

"Overall value was a 5-star. Unfortunately not a 5-star on its own. We got a great deal through Hotels.com but had we not our visit would have had different expectations. Rooms are decent, no dresser so space for clothing is limited. We enjoyed having a balcony but we couldn’t use it as recent snowfall hadn’t been cleared. The shower was great, bed was comfy. The downsides were that although they give parking passes they are not enforced so hotel patrons have to contend with restaurant goers and park visitors. Multiple laps multiple times to finally get a spot to park. More often than not the front desk was left unattended and the jacuzzi hot tub has an odd odor, not chlorinish… almost musty. All in all a good visit for a great value considering a lake view, a fireplace and needed amenities. "

"I had to shovel three foot high snow 10 feet long to get to the front door. I also had to shovel another six feet to get to the stairs as well. Luckily I brought a shovel because if I hadn’t I couldn’t have gotten into the place. This was after being told the room wasn’t ready and was being worked on. Once inside it was a Time Machine back the 80s everything was extremely outdated. The only plus was location and view"

"This was my first time at a hotel in Big Bear, and I can’t wait to go again. There was an arcade for the kids, a bar for adults and walking distance to the Village. "
