"The check-in staff was a bit unfriendly. They didn’t greet or smile, which was disappointing since I was eager to find a place to rest. I was given room 222, but when I arrived, the door was wide open, and there were no sheets on the bed. I went back downstairs and informed the clerk, who offered me room 133. I wasn’t too upset because I understand that things happen, but the clerk’s demeanor was unfriendly. He didn’t provide me with a booklet or write down my room number, so I had to verify...

"I expect better from Marriott/fairfield hotels. Checkin was good. We arrived late and were tired so that was a plus, but the hotel seemed dated from the moment we walked in. The room was clean, but the tiles in the bathroom were cracked. The floor of the bathtub looked dirty, but it’s just the way it looked. The pillows were not cushy at all and we both woke up with headaches. (Note: bring your own pillow! I usually do, but didn’t this trip.) The thing that got me though was the toilet was...
