"A lovely place to stay…we were staying for a Thorpe park visit which is just a 5 minute drive away. Rooms were comfy, had everything needed and great air conditioning for the heat wave! Breakfast really good too and we ate in pub one night and found both service and food to be great. Highly recommend, we will likely return!"

"Edwina was a welcoming host! Nothing was too much trouble! Made sure we always had what we need! Accommodating our American car! Fabulous fresh cooked breakfast! "Everything (except restaurant) was poor : Small room with no refill (for 3 days they didn't refill the soap in the shower). Internet was very slow and down many times. They charged me twice and nobody want to take responsablity and told me to ask expedia. First night full of flies in the room. Many diffeent persons at the reception and nobody seems to care about the problems and always refer the day after to the manager who didn't take any decision. "The staff were all very helpful, we had our 7 year old grandson with us and the staff made a fuss of him to, breakfast and evening meals all great. The only slight downside was the room service element where we didn't have enough bath towels, 1 between 3 and even when requested the best that could be provide were a few extra hand towels. Similarly milk for the room tea and coffee not replaced until asked for. But apart from that I'm sure we'll stay again."

"My husband and I spent 2 nights at The Swan Inn. The staff were all fantastic and the food at the restaurant was great. Having a breakfast cooked to order included in the price was a nice surprise.
