Area around hotel is safe. We used private transportation service recommended by the hotel to and from the airport and driver provided excellent service. "I was staying there twice, the top floor room has very nice 270 degree view of the building and a courtyard. It is very safe, just in few meters there is USA embassy and 24/7 security and police cars are parked just few meters from the hotel. "This property is located in a historic building on the grounds of the Strahovsky monastery overlooking the city of Prague. We chose this hotel for it's peaceful location. I had forgotten to arrange for a transfer from the train station the day before, but Alice was able to accommodate us with a cab that met us at the main train station.
