"The hotel is beautiful and incredibly unique. The staff genuinely wanted to be helpful and you can tell they love the hotel too. The room was really comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Really cool, old time, glamorous Hollywood vibe. The courtyard is an oasis. Can’t say enough great things. I don’t even like L.A. that much but I’d come back to stay at the Prospect. Special place.."

"I liked this hotel and the location and the staff were all super friendly. Easy valet parking, too. I rated 4 stars because there was a lot if noise around 11-12 pm ... maybe from the restaurant staff closing up, as my room was right next to the restaurant. Also no coffee maker in the room and none available when I had to hit the road at 6 am."

"Nice, clean hotel located near Hollywood Blvd. Hotel and is a little old, but overall it was clean. Rooms were very big. There is a dining table, mini fridge and microwave. Would be nice if the bathroom had a vent and some outlets by the bed. There is free breakfast in the morning. Waffles, breads, and cereal. Overall, I would consider staying here again."

"The property is a bit dated and not a major chain. The staff is polite but there is often no one at the lobby desk. Despite a notice that the front desk would be occupied at 7:00 AM when I checked out at 7:20 AM no one was around. I pressed the service button but no one came. The room was fine. The AC worked well and it had a nice size refrigerator and microwave oven. There was coffee and tea in the lobby."
