The first room smelled like smoke. The front desk was able to switch us to a different room. The staff was accommodating and somewhat friendly. The continental breakfast was not much, but they do have a waffle maker. This is an adequate hotel for someone on a budget.

Room was clean, AC was great (both for cooling and warming), really liked the smell of the shampoo, and the bed was clean and cozy. Husband and I dozed off for 12 hrs! Breakfast selection was a lil limited, but honestly for the price it was all great. Room was missing the iron for the ironing board though, and no hairdryer. There were a few loud individuals at 2am, but they were gone very quick. I suppose it happens in any hotel.

Very quiet and orderly. Neatly kept grounds and friendly staff. Very family oriented establishment which seems geared to large groups. Mildly surprised how comfortable and quiet it was for the middle of the city.

Check-in was terrible. I arrived at 5 pm and not a single staff person was around. I waited for nearly a half hour. No one ever answered the phone. There was no sign informing guests of a return time. I had to do a business call in my car rather than inside the room I had to pay for (and connected to WiFi). Aside from that this property is very nice. The room was clean and furnished well. It was quite comfortable and in better condition than I was expecting. Same with the lobby. I would stay here again if I knew it would be possible to encounter someone upon check-in.

Paradise in the hood.

Definitely a sketchy area, don’t walk around unarmed. Felt safe at the hotel and on the property though. I’d stay here again.

The property is in downtown Memphis, so the things around it are all dependent on itself, not upon the hotel. We were greeted very well, given all the help that we needed to understand how to get to a room. She helped us with me being allergic to things making sure that I didn't have a problem before we even checked in. Other than a few other things it was very good.

I like the cleanliness of the building. I love that we are around all the attractions. I don't like that we did not have a hot breakfast. Breakfast consisted of cereal and milk, coffee, day old bread, some muffins and juice.

I enjoyed my stay overall . It was very therapeutic for me. The staff was great and very accommodating. The only issue I had was with pricing online vs me having to have a pay $30 more extra stay vs just charging me what I was charged online which was $52 . Now if I go online now and book? It’ll be $49 right now. I spent a little too much, but overall I enjoyed the stay and would not mind staying again. Even with that one mishap

Needs upgrads

Let me say this i wouldn't come back but the postive part is that the beds were comfortable and it was quiet the owner made sure that we got a decent room and that we were on a quiet floor so i can appreciate the customers service no breakfast which was fine because IHOP is next door and plenty of restaurants close by overall you get what you pay for and while we were that qe could see that they are trying to do some upgrads

The staff was friendly and the area isn’t bad at all however the tv in the room didn’t work and when I mentioned it to the staff they stated that no tv in the hotel works and also the bed was kinda smelly and the ac kept turning off. Not worth the price at all.

Sleep inn Suites

My stay has been okay. I have been without cable in my last suite room for almost 2 weeks. I was notified by management that the cable connection was down and not working. Thats well after i notified them about me not being able to watch cable. They put me in another room and it was smelling like Marijuana and i admeaditlly notified management. They came up and supposedly sprayed the room but i was still smelling that Marijuana smell in the room. I told the property that the smell was gone but i still smell it in this room. Its not as bad as it was before but i just got back in my room and i can admit the smell must still be in the furniture. I will ask them if they can spray again. Other than that. They have nice rooms and they are fairly clean.
