Hotels near Town of Tonawanda Veterans Memorial

"Comfortable, large, clean room. Breakfast ok. The property is very dated and run down. Needs updating. Also people in room across from me loud until midnight and hall smelled like smoke. A smoke alarm battery went off at night and when I called front desk from my room, the connection was not good and the staff member couldn’t hear me. I had to go downstairs to tell her. It took about an hour for the beeping to stop. The next morning she said she had just taken it off the wall?! There are 2 other hotels in the immediate vicinity right near UB North campus. I’d stay at one of those instead. "

"Stayed to rest to catchup long drive for next day, but one of the car alarm went off middle of the night and staff took more than an hour to figure out. I noticed staff noted the vehicle numbers/phone numbers from guests while check-in. It should have been taken care quickly. sleep was completely disturbed. bathroom light switch and plumbing when turned on made weird loud noises all night."

"Parking is ample but very dark. Almost no lights, which made it feel very sketchy. As you open the door, there is a distinctive smell, and the hallway reeks cigarette smell. Because there is a bit of a gap with the door, you can smell the cigarette smell when you are going to sleep. I also found spiders in my room. As one can tell, I did not have a great experience in this hotel."

"The breakfast was fine. They had two options for eggs, two different types of sausages some home fries a pancake machine. If you want waffles they had them. You can just heat them up. They had oatmeal some fruit muffins choices of juices coffee. It was fine. Our room was clean enough towels, stuff like that. There was a lot of shopping nearby and that’s why I usually stay at this hotel. The only thing that I would say is the third floor elevator area from when I checked in on a Thursday till I checked out on a Saturday the floor had never been clean. It was covered in what look like coffee everywhere. And for one full day, there was some towels in the hallway that I’m sure a hotel guest through there. "
