"Approached down the sort of steep, narrow and winding lane that makes urbanites nervous, the hotel has a mercifully spacious carpark. Our room was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, and the waiting staff exceptional. Can't really comment on the local amenities: our short visit coincided with very high winds whipping the sea into massive waves so the beach was dramatic and sadly inhospitable."

"Beautiful grounds, excellent staff but room fell short of expectations - no air conditioning, bath/shower difficult to get into, no shower caps, no toilet brush, flush difficult to use, waste bin not emptied - maybe all OK when built (2005?) but at the price charged we hoped for better. Cooked breakfast was good - they know how to poach an egg - but fruit juices at best were supermarket quality, limited fruit on offer (melon, pineapple and maybe blackcurrant) and same both days were there."

"What a beautiful hotel. I stayed in a superior double which was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space, fluffy towels, plenty of hot water and excellent tea and coffee, biscuits and water. "This is the perfect definition of a small english town stay. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the location. The rooms were clean and they provide complimentary biscuits and tea. The customer service was good as my boyfriend needed to catch a taxi somewhere and couldn’t do it himself so the Inn was able to call for him. The breakfast felt a bit pricy, but there was a cold buffet in addition to any hot item on their menu. Their fresh honey comb was really cool!"
