"My stay at the Terra d'Amuri was great. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of the Duomo and the beautiful old section of Catania. My stay was made even better by the wonderful and gracious owner, Loredana, who spoke perfect English and was always ready to help with any questions I had about sights and transportation. "It is a historic place. Everyone in Syracusa knows this hotel. There is wonderful breakfast. Rooms are unique and beautiful. We had two rooms that connected with a hallway. Loved the grand staircase. Easy to walk everywhere in Ortigia. "

"My stay here was beyond delightful. Staff was sooo helpful, from helping me book an airport transfer to helping me find stores and restaurants nearby. The response time was 24/7 and so fast. I can’t recommend it enough. The palazzo is BEAUTIFUL and so so so nice to just walk around and admire. Only thing is there are lots of stairs so be prepared. It wasn’t a problem for us at all though. It’s quick and easy to access the property. They also have complimentary espresso! Which is lovely for the morning before heading out to the town. "
