This is a really nice hotel to stay at, conveniently located for both driving and public transport. It's also sat on top a pub which is great! Staff were always friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is clean and feels modern. My room wasn't the biggest, but plenty large enough as a base from which to explore Melbourne. The guest laundry is well stocked with washers, dryers, irons and detergent. It can get a little noisy at times as it's sat right next to a busy road, but mostly wasn't too bad, and generally coincides with rush hour. Good value for money and would return in the future.

The hotel staff there were really friendly and welcoming, however, the whole building smells like a stale smoker who is homeless. I had to move to a different venue, as i couldnt put up with the cigarette smell throughout the building. I walked through the gaming room to the restaurant and every 2nd person had a cigarette lit! I thought smoking was banned indoors? They also didnt clean the room, the toilet wasnt very clean, there was no soap in the bodywash, shampoo or conditioner. I would only recommend this hotel if you had to sleep outside and the weather was really bad!

Stayed earlier in the year, room, bed and bathroom all great as before. Some noise at night from trucks at rail works nearby, but didn’t interrupt to much. Bistro service great again but the food wasn’t as good as the last visit. Great service from all the staff.

Clean and friendly staff, and very convenient if you are into public transport. Just the shares toilet and bath is a bit of a inconvinience, imagine having to pee in the middle of your sleep. But overall, this hotel is very good

Lovely place to stay

Despite the rooms being small the hotel was lovely, the staff were lovely. Super close to transport as well and there was a nice little shared Tea and Coffee area. Rooms were spotless and the beds were really comfortable!
