We were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door and did not want to leave! Great location for staying in the city and near Southbank. Staff and service was lovely and room was spacious! We cannot wait to come back again soon!

We loved our stay here! While it was only one night, we were treated with warmth and courtesy by all staff we encountered. Nothing was too much trouble, we left our bags there early as room wasn t ready yet. Came back in the afternoon after some shopping and our bags had already been dropped at our rooms when we checked in. My daughter was given friendship bracelets by the staff before we headed out to the concert, a very nice touch. Room was modern and of a good size with clasay modern decor and a king size bed. While trams were out our window, they couldn't be heard and the room was very quiet even though it was on level 1. Great coffee machine and kettle for breakfast, robes and slippers also in the room. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel for the day before we caught a train out of Melbourne in the afternoon. Will be checking in once again the next time we return . Loved it!

Overall an ok hotel, very clean. Rooms unusual layout vanity had no wall toilet door only just closed into tiny toilet/shower room. Reception located not on entrance felt a bit disconnected. Not great explanations of services hours of restaurant etc. If you just need a bed and close to dfo great spot. Prob not great for much else.

For me the street appeal was so gross i nearly asked my taxi driver to take me elsewhere. Location doesn’t suit my work commitments in Melbourne so I won’t be back.

Loved the hotel. It is fairly new. Clean. Bedrooms spotless. Hotel staff second to none. Everyone we spoke to was amazing. So helpful interactive in conversation. They made us feel very welcome. The only thing I could fault was the toilet door. It was so close to the toilet when you opened it; you had to fully open the door and walk over near the shower; close the door before you could use the toilet. Room 1708. Great position not far from lifts. Lovely views from our room over the city. Breakfast was adequate and very nice. Thank you.

Great stay at AC Hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay and parking a few mins walk away. Pool was nice and 10-15 min walk to restaurants on Southbank. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel
We stayed for 5 nights for the Aus tennis open and had a great stay. Breakfast was included - handy as there aren’t any cafes within a short walk. There is a Coles about 500m away, but as the hotel is in a redeveloping light industrial area the closest dining is at Crown. Trams are close by but we found Ubers to the tennis (around $10-13) a more convenient and quicker option. Staff were helpful and nice and facilities were great.

Pleasant comfortable stay
The room was modern, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I felt the staff could maybe of had a bit more enthusiasm on check-in and check out. Breakfast staff very friendly and helpful even when extremely busy. Although one staff member did give me anxiety with the way he was frantically rushing around, please just chill a bit. If I’m super critical I would have liked bigger complimentary bottles of water in the room.

Very friendly staff, all staff were kind to my little girls. Very welcoming. Comfortable and cosy bed and clean room. Fantastic swimming pool! Excellent buffet breakfast also!

Was clean and most staff were pleasant. Young man at reception on checkout was rude and no apology for extra charges that were not ours. Location quite good, rooms pretty basic and small. Probably wouldnt stay again but was fine for what we needed.

Weird room layout. Why have vanity in main room? Going to the bathroom at night light wakes everyone. Asked for a pet free floor and had a dog next door (wife's allergy). Difficult parking whilst checking in. Modern amenities.

We liked the facilities, little pod machine in the room. Bed and pillows were really comfy. The door to the room was stuck, took real effort to open and close it.

I cant recommend the AC by Mariott enough. Everything about our stay was exceptional from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Staff were so friendly, engaging, and helpful. We were offered a complimentary drink on arrival along with canapas. The facilities were great. The infinity pool was beautiful, the gym had quality equipment, and our room was beautifully presented with classy decor and everything we needed for our stay. The DFO was a <5min walk and the concierge held our bags for us when we checked out so we didn't have to walk around the DFO with all our luggage. We will definitely stay again!
