"A lovely property with lots of character. Unfortunately, we only stayed one day and that was a Sunday. The problem with staying on a Sunday is that the restaurant is closed and there is nowhere, either at the hotel or locally to get food. Our room whilst decorated beautifully and complete with everything you could want including robes and slippers was high up with a sloped roof that my wife on two occasions nearly knocked herself out. However, you will not find better and more friendly staff...

"This was a basic room which suited us well for just one night. It was nice to have a bath in our en-suite. Very confortable large bed. Fresh linen and towels were provided. A kettle and tea and coffee would have been a welcome addition in the room. Breakfast was good in size and value. "
