"This hotel is in a small village so it was nice to see locals not tourists. We didn’t have any issue finding parking on the street for our rental car. The staff was top notch! So friendly and helpful. It was nice to sightsee during the day and then go in the rooftop pool to cool off. Happy Hour each evening was a bonus. "I wanted a quiet few days in Gozo - I didn't have a car so picked this hotel for convenience to ferries and buses. I opted for a room with a terrace/sun loungers. I had a really large room on 8th floor, with spectacular views over the harbour, great air conditioning, huge comfortable bed. We also had a large round bath in the room which I wasn't expecting. "After spending a lot of time researching hotels in Malta, we chose the Solana Hotel based on its location, facilities, price, and room photos. Check-in was smooth, and we were quickly given directions to our room. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was on level -3 and had no window.
