"I booked this bed and breakfast the night before the check in date. I arrived at 930pm to find I should have received an access code via email in order to access the property and check in to my room. I did not receive an email with the access code and there was no staff on site. So, at 10pm I had to find other accommodations. I messaged the staff thru the Expedia app and left a voicemail. I’ve still not received a reply or a refund notice for the room night."

"We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...

"Smelly, old, dated furniture, king bed had taken 90% of the space. This dump needs to be rebuilt from scratch. Arrived at 3 and was told it will cost me more to check an hour early! Just awful. Paid 150 for garbage! I feel cheated! Stay away from this dump."

"Would definitely stay again. The location and staff are great and the rooms are clearly recently renovated. Appreciated the lawn chairs, deck seating, and corn hole. Only rated a 4 instead of 5 because bathroom sink didn't drain well and slightly musty smell to the room (we left window open and bathroom fan on, no problem)."

"We regretted staying here the whole time. There was no cold water from the tap. The internet was off and on. The room looked like nothing was changed but was renovated by fresh paint and cheap mattresses. You could hear the trains whistling and running all night. It was in a weird area and wasn’t a good stay at all."

"Cute, clean, a great place to stay! Only thing that could be improved is the TV options. There’s only basic cable, maybe 24 channels or so."

"This is an old property and needs much upgrading but for a local owned place it was ok. Room was neat? Needs new and clean carpet and upgrade on air conditioner."

"We stayed in a cabin. Furniture is old and dated and there was a strong musty smell, probably from the old carpet. Pros: room was large; bed was comfortable. We were charged a $22 daily amenities fee - for what amenities? There aren’t any. Location was good - right next to the lake but no views from the cabin."

"Great hotel! We wanted an upscale boutique stay along I-5 in Northern California and the Mossbrae was a jackpot. Cute little town with restaurants, a microbrewery, and if you are lucky (like we were), live music. Its a beautiful spot and is 15 degrees cooler than Redding or Medford OR"
