"Nice hotel. Not technically in the heart of Los Gatos which was a bummer because it’s about a 15-20 minute walk into town. Hotel lobby was nice and clean, but after 3 nights our room was never cleaned. No new towels and no garbage taken out even though they said at check in we’d have housekeeping every other day. "It is an older property and currently some of the rooms were being renovated. I wish we had been notified and given the opportunity to select other rooms . The work going on in the rooms next to ours was noisy, and started early. I'm not sure if the room we were assigned to had been renovated yet, but the grouting in the (nice large shower) was dingy looking and shower slippers were a must. Also the toilet was unusually low to the groung requireing deep knee bend to use. The bed was too large...

"Staff was helpful, but, was alone and line was long. He had no helpers. He was doing the best he could for checking guests in and guests coming by and had to ask to redo their keys. The grounds and landscaping of of the Motel were in terrible shape and not maintained at all. The rooms were cheap looking, Twin bed was a folding bed and think mattress, bathroom outdated, small and not homy. Not sure if I will stay there again..."

"The good - Bed was comfortable and location in town is good, grounds are pretty. The bad - Carpet in our room was old and dirty, we didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot. Decor is dated. Low end bathroom feels like you are in a cheap motel. Continental breakfast and coffee are not good, no effort to provide anything nice, can’t get a decent coffee. Overall this place is too pricey for what you get, It is located in a very nice neighborhood, and the website and pricing suggest it...

"Very kind and helpful staff welcomed me just before a major cloudburst. My room assignment was switched to make it easier for me to get from car to room. I appreciated that. Room, while “vintagely” furnished, was immaculate and spacious. The grounds right outside were tropically planted so lots of colorful foliage and plenty of songbirds not far off. "Great stay, but we left something behind and have been trying to call all day and left a message and email and haven't heard back. Looks like the item might just be rip but we were going to catch them fast. Property was ok. Sink was a little blocked but still drained well. The bathrooms are a little beat up but fine. Everything worked properly. Good place to stay for cheap."

"The air conditioner in our room was extremely loud, so we had to turn it off to be able to sleep. However, the room became very cold in the middle of the night. Also, the breakfast was not as described in the listing. It was far from a continental breakfast and overall felt very basic and below expectations."
