Exclusives Privatquartier mitten in Matera

Sehr schwer zu finden, auch nicht mit Navigation, gelang nur mit Hilfe eines netten Einheimischen; mit einem größeren Auto ist nur der bewachte Parkplatz (€ 5/24h) in ca 150 m Entfernung zu empfehlen, vor der Unterkunft sehr begrenzter Platz - kaum zum Umdrehen; Zimmer sehr ausgefallen und geschmackvoll ausgestattet; Achtung: in der Junior Suite ist das Bad im 1. Stock und nur über eine schmale Eisentreppe erreichbar (nichts für ältere Menschen)! Sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, hartes Bett, der Patrone sehr bemüht. Das Frühstück italienisch, aber reichhaltig! Ins Zentrum von Matera sind es nur wenige Gehminuten !

Struttura completamente nuova e molto pulita. Il proprietario Pippo molto disponibile ci ha fornito la piantina e dato alcuni consigli sui sassi di Matera. Colazione molto varia e abbondante.

Petit hôtel très propre, petit déjeuner copieux et de qualité .. et surtout un accueil d’exception : nos hôtes se plient en 4 pour nous satisfaire et à titre d’exemple ont réussi à me trouver un rv avec un médecin spécialisé en quelques heures un lendemain de 15 août ! Alle porte di Matera

Il B&b si trova poco prima dell’inizio del centro storico, la posizione è comoda anche per parcheggiare. La nostra camera “grotta” era molto accogliente e pulita, il soffitto è un po’ basso ma ci si adatta. Pippo, il proprietario, è un super ospite!

We loved this place! Very unique, modern, clean, historic and close to everything. Upon arrival it was hard to find. Very little sign showing direction to hotel but we found it! Get lost looking for it because we ran into a lot of things to see along our search for the hotel. Owners speak very little English but made it feel authentic. They made us a great breakfast every morning. Beds and pillows were comfy! Parking was safe and available right in front of the front door entrance during our stay. Close to everything we didn't need to move the car for the two days. We stayed in room #2 upstairs and have no complaints. The shower is not for people taller then 5'9 but very nice, clean, unique concept. You share a living area with three other rooms. I believe there's 4 total. It was an awesome experience as we met local traveling Italian families on their vacays. Surprisingly very quite and had no clue there was 8 other people below us. Highly recommend staying here. Loved the little window as we woke up to it snowing.

Hotel Lamia, Materia

Lamia is excellent location near to the Sassis and old town. Using Waze we found the hotel easily - it’s off Via Lucena. Rooms are well appointed and v clean. Hosts are helpful and able to give plenty of local info. We had super stay and enjoyed Matera v much.

Excellent Trip to Matera

Pippo was an excellent host. Using Google translate between the two of us hit the mark and we were definitely able to communicate. Accommodations in the grotto room were great... even for someone that is 6’2”. Breakfast was good and was a taste of Matera. Recommendations for lunch/dinner out in town were great. Appreciate Pippo explaining the city and showing us a great route to take to see the sites. Recommended.

Confortable comme à la maison

Séjour de 2 nuits. Chambre confortable, très bien située à deux pas du centre ville de Matera. Des places gratuites aux environs, à moins de 100 mètres de l'établissement. Beaucoup de possibilités de restauration à proximité. Tout les équipements sont neufs et fonctionnels. Le petit déjeuner, à base de produits locaux et frais, est délicieux. Merci encore à notre hôte et à son épouse pour leur accueil et leur cordialité.
