"First, the outside of the building, the neighboring park, the area, and the lobby get your hopes up. The lobby and the veranda, that is off of the lobby, is great. Definitely go there.
However, the room was just awful. They say they are renovating, and I must have gotten a pre-renovation room. We like NOTHING about the room. The dirty carpet was patterned avocado green - from like 50 years ago. Too filthy to use in a garage. Toilet didn't flush. Wood rot in the closet. Shower was ancient. Zero sound insulation. We heard every word our neighbors said. And the bed squeaked all the time. And just little things. If we were honeymooners, the whole hotel would have known. Maybe if you get a renovated room it would be fine, but what we had was awful. And it was small. When we mentioned the squeaky bed, the receptionist couldn't have cared less. "

"The remodel was good! I don’t feel it was worth the price we paid to stay2 nights! Our room wasn’t cleaned our 2 nd day! I had to call to receive clean towels and pick up trash! I also had to call to get bedding for the pullout bed! "
"For an establishment that calls itself a resort it was horrible. We showed up earlier than check in time to verify the reservation and when we showed up to check in we had to wait 20 minutes. They should have had our room ready. Additionally there were zero amenities in the room. Nothing in the bathroom for showering, and not even an ice bucket. No refrigerator, no microwave, and the hallway on the 3rd floor leaked as it rained. I would advise people to avoid this place and book elsewhere. Finally they offered no breakfast of any type. "
"staff was very friendly breakfast was excellent only negative was there were no electrical outlets in the wall could not plug in laptop where it was conveneint to place it"
