"Fantastic place to stay. Out of three hotels we stayed at in Kathmandu, we liked this one the best by far - great location, very clean yet quiet and superb staff.
If we are ever back in Kathmandu, will stay here again. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Kumari Hotel! The location is perfect — right in the center of Thamel, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and all amenities. The entire team, from reception to the kitchen and housekeeping, is top-notch — friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The hotel is spotless, safe, and very well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Kathmandu!"

"Exceptional service with very nice and clean rooms. Prabin and his crew went above and beyond in all aspects of our group of 9 stay. Highly recommend and if I find myself in Kathmandu again, I will definitely stay here again."

"The staff is very friendly and are helpful. The courtyard makes the place and the restaurant has great food. Breakfast was great too with many western and Asian options. The room was average with all that you would need. The only negative was the bathroom. Cracking paint and tub, mould and just looks poor. I am sure some rooms are better. It was clean at least for the most part but it does bring the hotel quality down."

"It's right next to the Durbar, a very convenient location. The staffs were very nice and helpful. We also liked the hotel restaurant. If you want to stay in a building with history, you will enjoy it. "

"Very friendly staff. Convenient to Thamel, yet just outside the busiest streets. Clean hotel, good size room, in decent shape. The only negative, no elevator. "

"The room was exceptional and a very comfortable bed. The food in the main restaurant , beside the lobby was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Would stay at the Marriott in Kathmandu again in a heartbeat but definitely longer next time."
"We had a business suite, which was spacious and very clean. Treally all hotel staff was super friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed as well both house restaurants, which served high quality food (The Chimney wins..) Truly a 5 star hotel in a great central location. When we come back, we will stay here again for sure."
"Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
Location was good, next to the garden of dreams which was a good marker when travelling around Kathmandu. Short walk into the Thamel nightlife, restaurants and bars. Money exchange office very close to the hotel with the rates the same as others within the city.
Pick up from the airport was included and helpful in initially finding the hotel. For the return to the airport the hotel arranged a minibus and we paid, about £5. The only downside is if you have mobility issues as there are no lifts. I would recommend this hotel!"
"Beautiful hotel, really friendly staff, spacious room. The dining options were excellent. A taxi into town is relatively inexpensive, and reception will arrange for you. "
"We very much liked this friendly local hotel. It has a nice quiet location a few minutes walk south-west of Thamel and nearer to Kathmandu Durbar Square (a 10 min walk). There is a very nice courtyard where we enjoyed our breakfast, each floor of the hotel has it's own balcony and there's also a simple roof terrace where we liked to sit in the evening. Room & bathroom were fairly basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked free drinking water being readily available from a large water container in reception rather than plastic 1 litre bottles to help reduce plastic. WiFi worked fine. Staff were all great with the two front desk staff especially helpful when my daughter had an on-line job interview using the hotel's business office. There seemed to be a lot of returning guests which is always a good sign."
"Rooms are super clean and updated, staff are super friendly and accommodating and you can't beat the location! The rooftop restaurant/bar is a nice bonus as well! "
