"Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the location of the property to the downtown area. We stayed here during Washington’s Art and Wine Fest which was all within walking distance. There is a steep hill coming up to the property but there is a public parking lot just below on Front street so you can drive down and park there if you want to walk around town and then drive up the hill upon your return to Elijah’s. "We wanted a good night's sleep and a shower which was what we got. The room had working TV, microwave, and refrigerator. They just replaced the ice machine so we weren't able to take advantage of it.$100 deposit was returned at checkout. Staff was friendly and helpful"

"If you like the feel of an era of a time gone by, you will not be disappointed. This place has been restored to spindler and makes the entire place easier to just relax. The staff on duty were attentive without being intrusive and we were able to be ourselves. I really hope we get a chance to return as I would really really enjoy a longer stay."

"This hotel was well maintained and clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was great with quite a few options for a continental breakfast. The pool area was very clean and stocked with towels (hard to find at most hotels!). The bathroom was a great size and the shower had good water pressure. We would definitely stay here again."
