"I stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start."

"We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly. The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset. Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location. Even a chicken popped in to say hello! My partner is diabetic and though...

"Such a lovely hotel with lovely food and drink served by very friendly staff. I was slightly disappointed with my room as others in our party who had paid the same rate had a fridge in the room ( it was 29c on the day of our stay ) and also bedside plugs - I suffer from sleep apnea and have to sleep with a Cpac machine which ness plugging in - unfortunately I was unable to use this machine on one night thus effecting my sleep that night. However, I lovely mental stay and would love to return one...

"Our first time at The Green Man and we will be returning. Had a great time, accommodation and food excellent. They also have a wonderful front of house called Amanda who was great fun and extremally helpful."

"Beautiful character property, large comfortable rooms (little tired but stiil lovely), with all amenities and extra touches, eg fruit and home made biscuits provided each day. Homely feel and lovely staff. Extra bonus of an outdoor pool although could do with a bit of a spruce up. We loved our stay here."

"The Breakfast team are exceptional....food out of this world, one of the best breakfasts you will ever have at a hotel. We are elderly and Olivia was so kind to us during our stay. The pool was wonderful on a hot day. Plenty of beds in the morning and a great escape to the air conditioning in the afternoon. Nicest bunch of people made this a great stay. Thank you to all the team"
