"This turned out to be a nice experience with the beach right next to it and the pools. It's a very family oriented atmosphere which was lovely. The double bed in our camping pod/tent though was extremely uncomfortable, so we were not able to sleep on it, but we did take the two twin mattresses and put them on top of it, which made it more comfortable. In the end it was a good experience, but that night's sleep was rough."

"Rundum ein gutes Camp, die Mobilhäuser sind sauber und in einem Guten Zustand. Die Umgebung ist Natur Pur, echt super schön. Der Frischemarkt im Camp hat ganz ganz leckere Sachen zu guten Preisen, der Supermarkt ist auch nicht schlecht ausgestattet. Strand war auch Top, dass Personal Nett, also alles in allem kann man das Camp sehr ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen. Wer entspannen will und die Natur sucht ist hier richtig."

"I had a wonderful experience staying at this rental apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location was perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, but still quiet and relaxing. The host was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the kitchen had all the basics. I really felt at home during my stay. "Beach side property. We rented a small villa. The villa was great. We were able to dine indoors or on the patio. The beach is well kept and we had access to chairs and parasol. This resort is made for a relaxing vacation "

10/10 Excellent

"Nice lodge (superior), air con was nice. Beds basic but fine, shower ok. Beach sunbeds were expensive (£260 for 4 sunbeds for 6 days) but nice enough beach and had to go there because the pool has some crazy ridiculous rule about wearing a silly rubber hat in the pool when it’s 33 degrees. They are not worried about all the children weeing in the pool but if a hair were to fall out! It’s obviously a ploy to divert people away from the pool area and onto the beach which you have to pay for so that is annoying, but all in all a nice basic campsite with ‘ok’ lodges. It is in the middle of nowhere though so once your in, your in! "

"I will highly recommend this beautiful hotel to my family and friends, and I hope to return someday soon. The outstandingly helpful staff was gracious and gave me excellent assistance as a solo traveler. As I did not have a car, I needed to secure drivers from the train station pick up and to visit Cascate del Murino. I enjoyed the spectacular dining experiences and quiet tranquility of the pool with panoramic views. Thank you for a memory of a lifetime! ~ Anne, USA. "

Hotel La Pineta

10/10 Excellent

"This cute hotel is a 1-minute walk to the beach! It is a little outside of central Follonica, but totally walkable. We are a family of three and we walked to town every night for dinner and gelato. We also walked to and from the train-station with heavy backpacks. They do have bikes to rent at the hotel, and Follonica provide small trains after 17:30 that take you to and from town until midnight. Very clean and great buffet breakfast! Would highly recommend! "
