"Excellent hotel, we went with our daughter for her 6th birthday. It was a perfect family friendly stay. There’s a map and fox hunt from reception for them, the pool is available all day & sweets at breakfast, a 6 year olds dream! Location is fab too, 10 mins from a tube, so a more relaxed atmosphere but still walking distance to plenty of food & tourist spots. Would highly recommend. "

"Spa is fabulous, especially the strong water jets on the shoulder - fab. There were a few people about but it did not feel 'busy' - I did not have to wait to use anything. Same can be said for the gym which had better machines and more variations on kettle bells than my home gym. Godo quality breakfast with variety of choice, inclduing several options for milk. Lovely, friendly, welcoming and very polite staff at all touchpoints from arrival throughout. We were very happy with our last minute spontaneous visit. Would definitely visit again. PS rooms were really clean, which is important to me. And when my husband realised he was going to be too hot at night, the staff were very quick to accommodate with a helpful solution of a thick sheet instead of duvet."

"The Heyford had positves and negatives for me. Positives 1) Michael. Nothing was too much for him. He is personable and did his utmost to make sure I had a pleasant stay with you, so big thanks to him. 2) The room. I stayed in the deluxe room and it is a big spacious room with a comfortable bed and balcony. 3) Food. After reading the reviews, I was expecting to be let down by the food, but everything I had was delicious. Negatives 1) I'm pedantic and felt perhaps the room could be cleaner. 2) I came for my birthday and mentioned this twice to the hotel, but I didn't even get a handwritten card wishing me well, which I thought was a shame. 3) Slippers. Paying £400 a night for a room and not getting slippers is quite wild."

"1 useable plug socket. Had to put kettle on floor to reach plug socket, no breakfast… despite it saying it was included. Overall not a great stay"

"Business/CPD trip. Everything i needed was on the premises. Staff on friday night were very busy, but always attend to your needs. Cottage was squeaky clean. Thank you sooo much! Lively and vibrant Pub (nice to see it so busy ☺️). Dinner and breakfast absolutely delicious. Service outstanding. Hope at some Point (er) 🐾朗 i will have to come back. Thank you all the staff."
