A coffee heaven! Classic old hacienda farmhouse made of local bamboo. Center of a large coffee plantation and Juan was excellent with a 5 house coffee tour- best I've ever had- and I have done coffee in Kona, Ethiopia, Panama, Guatemala. A highlight of my 2 month Colombian trip

The hotel is located on a beautiful farm - it’s quite a ways from the main road
They offer the option of user pay dinner- made on site - very healthy offering
The staff very courteous- overall a very nice experience

Quiet working coffee farm. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was private but across the hallway. Good food and GREAT coffee! Fun activities offered at extra price. Definitely do coffee tour. I enjoyed trip to Cocora Valley and Salento and chocolate experience also. Nice pool and plenty of areas to put feet up and relax. Staff very friendly and helpful
We stayed in borh the coffee lodge and the main house and enjoyed both. The coffe lodge is more basic and very comfortable. The main house is avery traditional cofee hacienda owner dwelling. It has a beautiful covered veranda with comfortable hammocks, rocking chairs and arm chairs from where one can enjoy a view of the hills all around, the colourful birdlife, gardens and orchids while sipping a good cup of coffee.
We did the Hacienda’s coffee tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We also did the day tour to Nevado del Ruiz, stopping at the Páramo (Colombian moor), going into the park and walking at 4,500m. above sea level! We recommend it!
spent 2 days.... hoping for much more biodiversity saw 2 cats, 3 chickens, a few hummingbirds and a few other birds. Also got a visit from a dog from one of the other buildings. It was a good introduction to getting into a coffee farm on the side of a mountain. Name of the place was Hacienda Vecencia. The building I stayed in was designated as the hostel, well built and originally used as the sleeping quarters for the workers. Cost $30 plus transportation there. The Hotels.com site did not have directions but the Hacienda Vecencia site did after switching from English to Spanish on an English page. The transport vehicle appears to have severe mechanical defects.
