Shamefully Heartless and Uncompassionate Hotel Experience
My family traveled back to Fiji after 52 years so our father could finally show us his homeland. Heartbreakingly, during our stay at another hotel, he suffered a massive heart attack and passed away. As we struggled to manage the unimaginable, we contacted the hotel to cancel our reservations and explained the tragedy we were facing.
To our shock, the hotel showed absolutely no compassion. No refund. No flexibility. Not even a credit or partial refund. Just cold, robotic responses and a flat-out refusal to help in any way.
At a time when we were overwhelmed with grief and logistics, this hotel prioritized profit over basic human decency. We weren’t asking for luxury — just a small gesture of understanding during a devastating time for our family.
Their heartless policies and refusal to offer even minimal support made a painful situation even worse. I will never forget how poorly we were treated, and I will never stay at this hotel — or any of their affiliated properties
