"The host goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and answered questions we didn't even know we had. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away and some amazing snorkelling and baby shark sightings out past that Maui jetty. Their garden is spectacular and all done by hand and Dee's brewed coffee is better than even Cafe Planet's up the road. 10/10 will try again . Thank you Ken and Dee :)"

The Naviti Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing location , the staff was extraordinary and made out trip one of the best we stayed at about 4 to 5 5 star resorts over the duration of our stay and not a single one of them could match the level of comfort and friendliness of the staff at the Naviti . The food was fantastic , rooms were clean alongside all of the facilities. They offer a good amount of things to do . But the staff really made us feel like family to the point we were sad to leave them . 10/10 resort the only downside we had was trying to swim in the ocean of the beach at the resort. There is alot of seaweed and the water can be a bit murky due to the sediments and seaweed , it however is swimable and very warm ."

"This is a very quiet and peaceful property, a refreshing change from the larger, busier resorts. With no phones or televisions in the rooms, it truly feels like a tropical paradise where you can completely disconnect and relax. The beachfront rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer beautiful views. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The beach is fantastic—clean, serene, and rarely crowded. Most of the time, it feels like you have the entire beach to yourself. The only area that could use some improvement is the food. While it is satisfactory, it doesn't quite match the high standard set by the accommodations, service, and overall atmosphere of the property. That said, the peaceful setting and outstanding hospitality make this a wonderful place to stay."

Fiji Hideaway Resort and Spa

"Lots of reports on various platforms re staff and their attitude. I found that 95% were delightful but just on my last night I sat down to dinner and 2 waitresses ignored me, then weren’t that friendly and then after requesting the dessert menu was completely forgotten. I gave up. But overall staff were lovely. Some calling me by name. I did request an upgrade on my room if available as my first room was a bit ordinary and was given a stunning room which looked fairly new…I am glad I asked. The reef is right there and snorkelling at high tide is magical and the water temperature is perfect. I hired a car and enjoyed a day out and a couple of restaurant meals. Sadly the meals are of poor quality and the breakfast buffet is small. BUT I did absolutely enjoy my stay which was 4 nights. I have moved on to a slightly more upmarket resort nearby."

"We had a very nice experience. I read 1 star reviews and was a little surprised. I honestly think it comes down to preferences and perception. I do agree, this is not a 5 star resort. However, this is a lovely property with friendly service that is always available. We also really enjoyed the food, contrary to the negative reviews. The rooms were also comfortable and clean."

"I absolutely loved Malolo Island Resort and highly recommend it! From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with a song, warm smiles, and genuine hospitality that makes you feel special right away. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The food was excellent, the water was crystal clear and beautiful, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy throughout our stay. What truly sets Malolo apart is the people. Knox, Philly, Atu, Grace, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their kindness and personal attention made our experience unforgettable. I've stayed at many resorts, and Malolo Island Resort is by far one of the best. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return.."
