Our only problem was with the extremely unhelpful staff member who couldn’t even tell us if our room came with a refrigerator or not. We had called ahead of time to find out this information and she simply said that she was new and it would stay on our reservation. We told her we booked through Expedia and she told us to simply go to the website and look it up there. How are we supposed to go look...

"It was wonderful. We stayed in the Casa Blanca, Bogie and Bacall room. We practically had the upstairs to ourselves which was very nice. I loved the architecture, mission antique furniture, paintings and views. It felt like heaven to be there. Casa Blanca is very spacious and cozy. We were attending an event in Topanga, but access to the beach, hiking and Woodland Hills was great. Breakfast was always very good and it was nice talking to the other guests. "Sophie and Daniella at the front desk are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The room was beautiful and extremely clean. Great amenities and close to the freeway and Calamigos Ranch, where we were curating florals for a 4th of July weekend wedding. Safe and fabulous. It was a great decision to stay here. I wish my Bonvoy rewards were available when I check in through Expedia. "

"What a tremendous surprise is the Channel Inn. Excellent location in the Santa Monica Canyon. Friendly staff. Fabulous local restaurants. Complementary wine/cheese at 6:00. Wonderful compmtnary breakfast. Accommodations were very personal - made some great acquaintances in the communal areas. Bed and Breakfast style in a 100 year old former mansion.
