"The bedroom was great , lovely decor & a very comfortable bed BUT the bathroom was clearly in need of a major refurbishment - it was extremely dated and in poor condition - the shower attachment was in the bath but the tiled side of the bath was so high that I could not get in to have a shower. There were 2 sinks but one only had a dribble of water coming out. The finish on the tiling around the sinks and the boarding behind the toilet seat were clearly suffering from wear and tear. Only downside was tea and coffee in rooms, never enough of anything for 2 people only 2 teabags, 2 sugars and 2 coffees given daily so basically 1 cup of coffee per person per day. Even on asking staff was just given single of everything! Felt like we were on rations!"

"There is no AC. Which wasn’t disclosed. I could hear the squeak of my bed when I turned and same for the people upstairs. While the lobby is nicely decorated the indoor hallways are a nasty stained white carpet. Also THERE IS NO BAR as advertised. They simply sell a couple alcoholic drinks which you better finish in one go as the rooms have no refrigeration. In addition the awkward arrangement with the bed and large TV made for a narrow passage. I have had some rough stays but I was expecting...

"The staff was very helpful. We were there during a very hot time of year and the place is not air conditioned, but there was a strong fan. The shower area was modern. It is in a good location a fairly short walk from the train station."

"Very disappointing experience for a five-star hotel. Everything felt overpriced, and even basic things seemed to come with extra charges. Customer service was poor, housekeeping was inconsistent, and staff were not helpful. Traveling with a child, we even had difficulty getting an extra bottle of water. Overall, this hotel did not live up to its five-star rating and was not worth the price. We would not recommend it."
