"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. "We had a great mini break over the new year period. Room was lovely with beautiful sea views. We had our evening meals at the hotel for both nights and food was delicious. Lots of variety and choice in the continental breakfast option also. Great location for coastal walks and the complimentary mini bus was nice to have. Staff very friendly and super helpful. All in all, a brilliant few days away to recharge after a busy Christmas. Will definitely return."

"Friendly staff, nice hot cooked breakfast, each item of breakfast food chosen from a menu, coffee very luke warm unfortunately, hotel clean, one small incident while we stayed but receptionist sorted it out straight away with understanding and courteous.
The porter could have been a little more courteous and a little less grumpy but this didn't apply to the rest of the staff, they were kind and helpful."
