"The location is great, the host was great at communicating and available. The views was amazing.The listing did include the pool was heated but it wasn’t when we were there. I paid extra for romantic roses petals but no roses were in the room only some cheap heart shaped creations. The bathroom and towels need to be updated. "

"We really wanted to leave a good review of Villa du Kapress because the staff were so lovely and overall the villa is really nice, we also had one of our best meals here while we were on St.Maarten. "The hotel is isolated with 2 restaurant options, both great. Pool is beautiful, beach unfortunately full off seaweed and unusable to no fault of the resorts. Car is a must if you want to see the island. Overall we were very happy with resort and would return. "

Staff were rude, service was slow, and drink options were oddly restricted depending on time and location. "View was spectacular. Food at resort was primo as well. Beach is "open from 10-6" meaning if you want service, towel, or chair its 10-6. You can still take an early morning dip. Valet was chill, staff was chill. View again was great. Rainbow cafe is two/three doors down. Cool spot, but they party over there until midnight on the weekends. "I enjoyed my stay at SBMR. We visited 3 of the pools on property and the beach. We didn’t eat at any of the restaurants, however the rooms had a full kitchen so I was able to cook breakfast some mornings. The property had plenty of parking available if you get a rental car. My only issue is the layout of the property. It’s not walkable so you really don’t get to see the entire hotel only the area your room is located, however they do provide shuttle service. "i wish they would mention that there are renovated houses and non renovated. had to find out upon arrival that we will be staying at the not remodeled version. also, their check in is at 3 pm. expedia said its at 2 pm. so that one hour was a big difference for us since we still came on early- at around 12:30. coffee machine was at the kitchen, but no coffee was anywhere to find. in general, it would be not bad 3 start, but definitely not better than that and cost way too much "

"La Villa Habiscus was fantastic. We stayed there for 2 weeks on our first vacation with our little one (5 months) and we could not have chosen a better spot.
