"The creek out back was amazing. The state had a burn ban in affect due to SEVERE drought so we couldn't utilize the fire pit areas. For being late in season there were not many options for dining. I just wish we could have spent more time at the lodge chillin outside, the running water from the creek and river were amazing. The new owners seem to be making upgrades, very friendly people. "

"Very nice place to stay. They conditioned the place to have an entry were you can boot up and leave your skies to dry too. In general, it was a good place to stay as a couple with 2 kids. For more adults, it would be a challenge. Beds were quite hard. They have a lot of utensils, china and silverware. The Bridges also has a shuttle to go to the mountain (so you can leave your car parked). EV charges avaiable. "

"After four days of staying in chain motels, this was a wonderful upgrade for equal or even less expense. This historic property is full of character and charm, but has been beautifully maintained and improved. Staff are lovely and gracious. We will be sure to come back!"

"It’s the perfect little motel. I have 2 suggestions: 1) a doormat inside the entry door ( because today was heavy rain) 2) A streetlight at either driveway entrance. It was very dark and with the rain visibility was awful. Fortunately the traffic was light. "
