This is an amazing hotel! The rooms are massive and comfortable. The staff is awesome, there's a cute bar & restaurant downstairs. We stayed there to go to Aachen for WEG horse show - only 20-25 min away. And affordable!! We'll definitely be back!

Very basic hotel. No fridge and a/c in the rooms. Although we had informed the hotel about our arrival time and booked a place in the restaurant when on our arrival we were told that too late to attend hotel’s restaurant .The hotel’s location is 15/20 minutes walk from the town centre where limited numbers of restaurants are open after 20.30 hrs. There are free parking and charging stations by the hotel. Friendly English speaking staff at the reception .

Great stay

Great hotel, lovely staff and really handy having the on site bar and the 24/7 reception. Stayed to be close to Pinkpop festival, prices were probably a little higher as it was a busier period in the local area. That being said, room was spacious, had all the amenities needed so it was ideal.

Lovely building and history

Lovely historic building (not the castle shown in one of the photos!) and comfortable room and bar area downstairs. The beds are way too soft though!! Helpful friendly staff.

Es gab keine Getränke an der Bar abends. Entweder gab es technische Probleme mit der Kasse, oder es war kein Personal anwesend. Bei dem Preisniveau würde ich etwas mehr Service erwarten. Ladestationen für Elektroautos waren nicht/nur eingeschränkt nutzbar, App des Anbieters funktioniert nicht, Ladekarten zwar möglich, aber halt die üblichen teuren Roamingpreise.

Die Zimmer waren sauber, sind aber auf Grund der Lage in einem historischen Objekt teilweise etwas altmodisch (Türen Stand 1970er Jahre, mancher Lichtschalter an Stellen, wo man ihn nicht vermutet). Wir hatten ein Appartement über zwei Etagen, die Treppe nach oben war sehr steil und viertel gewendelt. Nichts für Menschen mit Einschränkungen. Leider wurde über die Tage die Reinigung der Zimmer vergessen, da haben wir bei Abreise angesprochen, dafür wurde sich entschuldigt. Gut war die kleine Küche, so konnten wir uns auch mal eine kleine Mahlzeit zubereiten. Im Hotelrestaurant ist es doch recht edel. Lecker, aber eben auch teuer. Frühstück ist okay, gutes Buffet, warm und kalt, die Mitarbeiter sind gut mit Auffüllen beschäftigt, gelegentlich streikte einer der Kaffeeautomaten. Die Brötchenauswahl könnte größer sein, nur zwei Sorten, keine Körnerbrötchen.

Het kasteel ziet het erg leuk uit, maar de buiten ziet erg slordig en onverzorgd uit. De staat van onderhoud is achterstallig (lampen stuk). Personeel erg vriendelijk maar slechts 1 persoon aanwezig waardoor het lang duurt om in te checken of iets te bestellen. De standaard kamers zijn redelijk. De luxe kamers zijn goed.
