Mara Major Camp

10/10 Excellent
"Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be. It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. Another highlight is that the guides are Maasai, and their incredible knowledge of the land and animal behavior leads to unforgettable wildlife encounters. The game drives were truly as good as it gets! A special shoutout to our guide, Sam, who was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate. He went above and beyond every single day to make sure we saw the things we wanted and made our experience truly exceptional. I cannot recommend Mara Major camp enough. If you’re visiting the Masai Mara, this is the place to stay!"

Entumoto Safari Camp

Entumoto Safari Camp

10/10 Excellent
"We had an extraordinary experience at Entumoto Safari camp! The Conservancy in which its located proved a truly peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the adjacent Maasai Mara National Park, however, its water hole still brought Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Waterbucks, Zebras and several other animals right up to our camp (we watched them over our fantastic breakfast and lunches). Separately, our excellent guide Purity ensured that our two full day game drives in the Mara park itself lived up to their "once in a lifetime" billing, allowing us to see not only the 'Big 5', the 'Ugly 5', and the Wildebeest Migration, but also a number of more intimate encounters with wildlife just feet away from our excellent open top/sides Land Cruisers. We can't recommend this camp highly enough and certainly hope to return with additional family members: our group of 2+1 stayed in a 2 bedroom Family Tent, which could easily have also fit 2-3 additional family members (presumably via prior arrangement with camp mgmt)."

"Mara Hilltop was the highlight of our trip! Amazing location and the Luxury rooms are incredible. Very attentive staff as well - shout out to Steve and Lucy! What surprised me is, even though you're outside the park - it's pretty much the same as being inside the park. The animals are all around, and you get the benefit of walking in the nature with the Maasai guides, etc Highly recommend it!"

"Another Unforgettable Safari Experience As always, our stay was absolutely amazing. There’s a reason we keep coming back! The staff is truly excellent—they make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Our tent was fantastic, perfectly blending luxury amenities with the raw beauty of the surroundings. The food was wonderful at every meal, and you simply cannot beat the location for safari game drives especially with guide Samson! We saw so much wildlife! Thanks to all of you for making our stay memorable. Can’t wait to return."
