"Lorian is a cosy small camp with very good staff. Food was good and location excellent...close to the air strip and fairly close to possible sightings. The Lorian team made the trip memorable with their superb and always helpful attitude. Will go back on next trip and happy to recommend."

"Toilets require a good improvement as they are very old with tiles broken and bad smell in water and so. But food once told for vegetarian good food was served. Even regarding staff, they r very cordial and helpful and their dance after dinner really stands as a best part of complete stay"

"Massively impacted by rain floods which made main road leading to and fro the lodge near to impossible to navigate on or over. Rivulets and erosion break offs. "After spending over 30 hours researching camps in Kenya, choosing Masa Major Camp was one of the best travel decisions I’ve ever made. It didn’t just live up to the glowing reviews—it far exceeded them. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt more like joining a warm, welcoming family than simply staying at a lodge. The staff were incredible—attentive, genuinely kind, and made me feel at home every single day. The game drives were absolutely unforgettable. Our guide seemed to know exactly where to be at the right time, and we saw breathtaking wildlife moments I’ll never forget. Having breakfasts and lunches out in the bush—surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife—made the experience even more magical. And the food back at camp? Outstanding. Easily on par with (or better than) any five-star restaurant I’ve been to. Every meal felt special, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience that you’ll never want to leave, I cannot recommend Masa Major Camp enough. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve gone."

"We had a fabulous stay at Sentrim Mara. Some of the other reviews did concern me before booking but I found this place to be good value for money. Also, the lodge was so spacious! The staff are wonderful, Geoffrey was friendly and attentive at the restaurant, chef Nicholas was helpful with my lactose intolerance and there were many other wonderful staff too. For my birthday the staff bought me a cake while doing native Maasai singing and dancing, it was a very memorable experience. Thank you to all the staff. Only thing that would have made it better is a heater in the room but I’m sure if we’d asked one would have been provided. We’d definitely recommend."

"We just completed our stay at Mara Intrepid camp. It was an unforgettable experience! Great location right on the Talek River. Excellent food with lots of options (plus a full bar), and the staff really go out of their way to ensure the comfort of each and every guest. The tents have lots of space and all the comforts we are used to at home. If you’re booking a safari game drive with them, do insist on a Toyota Land Cruiser over the Land Rover."

"This place is awesome! The tented structure was awesome and the bathrooms attached to each structure were modern and clean. After just a few short hours of being there, the Maasai guards knew who we were and where our tent was. At night when it was dark, they would walk with with us shining a light to make sure we could see. The food was 10/10. When I went to the bar and asked for a bottle of water for my room, they brought it to my tent. The whole staff was so friendly and the service was outstanding! I definitely hope to return because it was such a great experience. They also had a really cool traditional Maasai dance one night during dinner. "
