Hospitable and comfortable

As this was our first French B&B, I wasn't sure what to expect. Not like an American B&B if that's what you're looking for, but Philippe was an excellent host. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of amenities like chargers for our devices and good wifi. There were lots of little extras like cotton rounds, lotion, and hair tools (which I ended up needing) in the bathroom. Shared bathroom worked out fine with the other guests. We brought a vehicle since we roadtripped from Paris and we were able to park our car in a secure lot. Breakfast was a nice assortment of breads, homemade yogurt, chocolate mousse, jams, and lovely mixed fruit. The location is a 20 minute walk to a shopping/dining area. There is a lot of construction in town right now, but obviously nothing that can be done about that. Just requires patience. Overall, a very nice stay.

Great Place. Breakfast costs an extra 12 Euros.

Lovely place with a comfortable, pleasant, nicely decorated room and a comfortable bed. The bathroom and toilets are shared, however with only 2 other rooms. The kitchen facilities are excellent, with good quality equipment. The place is scrupulously clean. It is close to public transport. The breakfast was fantastic, even for someone who is gluten free. Philippe was very welcoming and friendly and a great host. The internet is great and secure. The downside for me was the cost which was higher than I normally pay. I thought the breakfast was included in the price I paid for the room which mitigated the extra for me. Unfortunately it was not and I had to pay 12 Euros a day. I paid this as I thought it was worth it on this occasion, however this should have been clear on the listing.

Très bien !

Séjour très agréable ! Philippe est un hôte très attentif. Le logement est assez calme, bien entretenu et très propre. Je n’avais pas prévu de loger dans une chambre d’hôtes pour ce déplacement professionnel, et finalement j’ai passé un séjour beaucoup moins impersonnel que dans un hôtel, et ce pour un prix imbattable. Le seul petit défaut, s’il faut en trouver un, est que la salle de bain est partagée et qu’il peut y avoir un bouchon le matin pour aller se brosser les dents !

"nature" en pleine ville

Il nous a fallu un logement à Lyon pour seulement une nuit. Quelle surprise de trouver un lieu agréable, "nature" en pleine ville, ou il fut bon de poser les pieds après une journée en ville et de passer une bonne nuit dans un quartier calme et silencieux. La propreté était impeccable et le petit déjeuner royal, 100% bio. Merci pour tout, surtout pour l'accueil chaleureux. recommander.

Chambre d'hôte confortable, accueil chaleureux

Accueil chaleureux, chambre d'hôte à thème (en l’occurrence "La Naturelle" porte bien son nom), avec un lit confortable, un placard avec beaucoup d'espace et un petit bureau pour travailler. Salle de bain et toilettes partagées avec tout le nécessaire, et un petit déjeuner très copieux, mention spéciale pour les confitures maison ! L'immeuble est situé dans un quartier tranquille et est à proximité à pied de l'Université et du tram. N'étant pas un habitué des chambres d'hôte, je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix et reviendrais volontiers. Merci !

J’ai séjourné une nuit. Hôte très agréable. Les 5 chambres sont dans un appartement standard. La chambre Bambou était aménagée avec goût, très propre et en en très bon état. Mais la chambre est très petite, pas de lavabo. Le matin, 2 autres personnes étaient réveillées de bonne heure et donc moi aussi ...

Lovely accommodation with Gluten Free Breakfast

This is a lovely, stylish place. It is extremely clean. I found it quiet. Philippe was lovely and his breakfast was exceptional. He went and brought some gluten free cereals, which wasn't really necessary as he had ample suitable food available. (Phillipe said I wouldn't go hungry there and he wasn't joking!) I really appreciated it though. He speaks English well. The B&B is in a residential area of Lyon and isn't a hotel. It is more like a family home. It is very secure and I had no worries travelling round and I am a single lone travelling lady. The public transport in Lyon is fantastic and there is lots to see. The only problem I had was getting in at first as I needed to use a phone and I don't know how to use my UK mobile to phone France when I am there! I got in though. I would visit this place again.
