"Nice resort overall, but there were several issues during our stay. The Wi-Fi was out while we were there, and the fitness room was closed for repairs at times. We were also approached in the lobby about onsite massage services, which felt a little too much like a sales pitch.
We wanted to leave one day early, but the resort would not refund the unused night, even though the Wi-Fi was unavailable during our stay. The resort itself was nice, but the service and handling of these issues were...

"This is a small hotel of the beaten track but on the hot air balloon route. The food choice is limited but tasty.
The host was very accommodating and organised a trip after we left the hotel."

"I’m fully happy with Pyramisa Hotel Luxor. Words cannot describe the beauty of this location. If heaven on earth needs to be seen it is here. We stayed there for 2 days, my kids loved it . We could see fabulous Nile view from our room. The calmness of Nile with backdrop mountains is beyond description. Staffs were phenomenal. The manager Wael allowed us to stay beyond check out for easiness of travel before flight . I would definitely recommend and will be staying there next time as well. Keep it up Pyramisa Hotel."
"The staff was great and very helpful. They allowed us to check in at 11:00 which was great after a long flight. They can arrange transportation and tours as well."
"This was my second visit to the Djorff Palace and it was every bit as good as the first. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the Nile close to the valley of the kings.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with an excellent air conditioning unit. Relaxing pool area with great sun beds set up daily with towels. Great breakfast and freshly cooked meals at lunchtime and dinner time, with daily changing menu. A huge bonus is the hotel’s own river boat that will take you across the Nile for free or down to the old town centre for a small charge and will then bring you back when your ready to return. Would highly recommend…."
"you have to come in with appropriate expectations. This is Egypt and it's Luxor. The pictures make this look very beautiful, and a lot of the resort is picturesque, but what you don't see is you get dropped off on a street and walk through a metal detector, there are A LOT of mosquitoes, and the rooms are tired. I mean, I walked in and could see from across the room that the mattress was shot, with huge depressions where people had been sleeping over the years, and my back hurt all week. The air conditioners worked but were super loud. The rooms are huge but pretty dilapidated, with weird bathrooms. The pool was really nice and the staff were very nice. Our guide warned us that many of his clients staying here had gotten 'food poisoning', and I did indeed get travelers diarrhea here. I cannot be sure where I got it but we only ate at the hotel and Im a doctor who is very germaphobic and Im an experienced traveler, I never touch tap water even for the toothbrush. I was the only one of my family who ate salad twice, so that is a possible source. I should know better than ordering a salad, but I thought it would be safe in the hotel. Totally my fault, but would ask the hotel to make sure they are not washing vegetables in tap water. The doctor on site was super nice and helpful and gave me cipro/flagyl which took care of it in a couple of days. We ended our stay early. I will not be coming back. Its probably nice by Luxor standards, just set your expectations appropriately."

"Sayed and his team did a great job. Followed through on everything. We arrived at the airport, had a driver/tour guide, went on a tour, then to boat, which was as advertised. There are a lot of boat options - so I just asked for photos of the exact boat which he sent, and it was exactly that. This was all arranged on short notice too. The tour guides were generally good and vehicles all great which was nice after coming from Cairo where a taxi/Uber quality is so poor.
I would recommend book and ask them to handle everything you need in Aswan to Luxor to have a great trip. A cruise is peaceful and a nice way to see the countryside. I only wish I had done a bit longer one as its a lot of temples to see in only 3 nights"
