"I stayed in a lovely room by a little patio. West facing so I watched the sun go down with a lovely view. The people at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The laundry smelt amazing! A quaint courtyard with a water feature made a great place for a quick cuppa. There is also a lounge and dining area, both cosy. A perfect 10ish minute walk to the town and I had parking- huge plus. I would not hesitate to stay again, highly recommend."

"Lovely hotel right on the sea front sadly I booked late so had a room at the back! It was ok! Room comfortable but very dated and tatty had all I needed though! Didnt eat there, barman was nice and a drink on the terrace was lovely! The receptionist was very kind and changed my room from the basement as I was travelling solo! I would stay again but a sea view room which looked so much better! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Woodbury Park Hotel. The room was quiet and we had a balcony overlooking the golf course. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was well maintained and comfortable. The food was excellent too."

The gardens are worth the stay on their own. Cliffden is a reassuringly traditional hotel, with lovely views and a wonderful welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you."
